About Us
Qaggiavuut is an Inuit-led nonprofit based in Nunavut. We protect and promote Inuit culture by creating Qaggiq — gathering spaces where Inuit artists come together to share, learn, create, and carry culture forward. We support Inuit performers, Elders, and knowledge keepers across Inuit Nunangat, strengthening practices such as drum dancing, singing, throat singing, storytelling, creating, and other living art forms that carry Inuit identity. As we make space for Inuit artists to gather, we honour our past by preserving and guiding our future.
Our work focuses on:
Creating Qaggiq (gathering spaces and events)
Supporting Inuit artists (training, guidance, advocacy)
Protecting and passing on Inuit cultural knowledge
