March 28, 2026

Qaggiavuut collected and digitized traditional Inuit audio recordings, including pisiit, ajaaja songs, and oral stories.

This work supports the preservation of Inuit cultural knowledge and helps make important recordings more accessible for future generations.

The recordings will be preserved as part of a public media archive, supporting long-term access to Inuit songs, stories, and traditional knowledge.

Community members with traditional audio recordings are encouraged to contact Qaggiavuut if they would like to contribute to the archive.
